Double post warning?

I've seen people double post (the lag kind) loads more times since the update.. maybe it got lost too?

That would be a good idea particularly for new members that don't realise that they can in fact edit their previous posts, especially if it tells them too.

I agree that there doesn't seem to be much of an issue here. It's happened to me a couple of times lately though. Usually when I'm on around 1:00 to 3:00 in the morning my time. I think the lag is a more serious issue than the posting. There are times where it hangs for a couple minutes. Haven't seen much dbl-posting but I've experienced this several times. Anyone know why that's happening?

Double Posting isn't a big issue really
I only have a problem when I post and it lags so I click again and it double posts

I'd say a bigger problem is the fact people don't seem to be aware they can delete their own posts -.-

Maybe we can put a notice up on the first page in bright, shiny, flashing letters.

A cool feature another forum I have used has, is that when you post twice in a row it appends the second post to your first one ( and so on for multiple posts ).

Also I think if you post the exact same thing twice in a row it just ignores your second post

I don't know if it would be difficult to implement such features though.

A big problem is that some tutorials have used up all the character space used, so to continue it, they need to double-post.
