Double post warning?

Maybe this is possible?
If before you double post in a thread withinn 24 hours maybe before you post it you could get a warning which tells you to edit/delete your last post?
It could clear up some threads in the future.
If its possible it could be a good idea, I for one haven't tought of any downsides yet

To be honest I haven't seen a lot of double posting issues, everyone seems to be following the accepted guidelines. Spam seems to have decreased signicantly.

We already have a accidental double post prevention system (when it wants to work )

I've seen people double post (the lag kind) loads more times since the update.. maybe it got lost too?

That would be a good idea particularly for new members that don't realise that they can in fact edit their previous posts, especially if it tells them too.

I agree that there doesn't seem to be much of an issue here. It's happened to me a couple of times lately though. Usually when I'm on around 1:00 to 3:00 in the morning my time. I think the lag is a more serious issue than the posting. There are times where it hangs for a couple minutes. Haven't seen much dbl-posting but I've experienced this several times. Anyone know why that's happening?

Double Posting isn't a big issue really
I only have a problem when I post and it lags so I click again and it double posts

I'd say a bigger problem is the fact people don't seem to be aware they can delete their own posts -.-
