Pink FLOYD!!!!! That has to be one of the most amazing bands EVER!!!!

As for me, I like Staind, System Of A Down, Postal Service, Neil Young, The Beatles, and just about every rock band there is.

As for Muse, well, they have strong lyrics, and every Almbum before ''Black holes and Revelations'' is just perfect from start to finnish... But as a true fan i love the last 2 albums also... even though many dislike Muse cause they changed!?!?! :S lool i didnt notice any change though... lool
There was definitely a change in the last two albums, Black Holes and Revelations felt a bit more... normal But The Resistance is certainly a reaally good album. Exogenesis was art in its purest form.
    Still, I love them

you need to live here with tastes like that 3 of those are from Seattle area and one member of metallica lives here too

you like black sabbath (good choice) and soundgarden eh? have you ever heard SOMMS (was a special edition of badmotorfinger) it is cover songs soundgarden did, like into the void by sabbath or girl you now by devo... pretty good covers

jar of flies was the best alice in chains album (ever listen to Mad Season or Temple of the Dog? they are members from bands from around here like pearl jam, alice in chains, soundgarden etc...)

    oh EDIT:
@konnik, those songs are ok, and not really country
have you checked out kool keith and all his personas? (Black Elvis, Dr. Dooom, Dr Octagon, Mr. Nogatco... etc...) he is pretty funny for hip hop

I know they're Seattle bands, I hate the term Grunge though placing Nirvana, SG, and AiC together when they're all such different styles of music. I heard the Into The Void cover and loved it, to me Chris Cornell is the best singer since Robert Plant

yeah i hate the terms "grunge" and "mosh pit"... its a SLAM pit!!!!! the term "mosh" just sounds wimpy... but i guess not everyone likes punk or thrash metal shows
yeah into the void is one of my favorite covers. i been listening to it more lately. (that and Supernaut from 1000 homo DJ's)
used to run into chris cornell around town, he used to live in my neighborhood in the 90's. was funny when trying to convince a friend to move to west seattle, she ket going off on how far away from seattle it was, then we went into a pay-less in west seattle and she flipped out when chris cornell walked by her in an aisle and i told her he lived just down the street. that is when she decided to move to the neighborhood... hahahah
