I had a whole 3 paragraphs written out to answer your question, but somehow it got deleted, so I'll say this.

When it comes to MAG, teamwork isn't an optional, it's a requirement. Having a team that you trust is key to unlocking the full potential of this game. In the beta, I played games where all 8 members of our squad had mics, and we were able to easily work as a team, with our squad leader communicating and organising us towards each objective. Each member of the squad had a specific role, and in this style of play, the respawn times didn't seem as nearly as long.

On the other hand, i played games where nobody had mics, and everyone went off doing their own thing. People died quickly, and any trace of a plan disappeared as the game progressed. People were treating the game as another larger-scale COD, though it isn't that at all. Instead it's a tactic based game where you'll only truly succeed if you have a team that you can trust.

To me, it's a war-based Left4Dead. Teamwork isn't an absolute necessary, though without it the game won't be fun. I recommend getting this game, if you know other friends that are going to get it as well.

and to people saying "i have to run too far"... all i have to say to you is (and i know its not anyone on this site, but reviewers who suck at their jobs) if you breach the points you are SUPPOSED to, you wont have to run more than a few seconds. that is the point of getting rewarded for fighting good...pushing back their defenses... kinda like those stupid 25 kill streaks in mw2. the people whining about running and waiting to spawn suffer from ADD and should just go back to playing MW2.

if you don't like working as a team, then maybe you should try a different game.
