    Default Paddy J's Level Showcase

    The Site Part 1 - Part 2 Demo out now

    PART 1 - You find your self in a building site. An EGYPTIAN building site! Traverse through the site and find hidden prizes, avoid danger, solve a puzzle(s?), meet the workers and even unlock a minigame! I'm going to start work on part 2 soon, which takes place in a cave(wow)! Apply for a job at the site now! Sorry it's short, but I sorta went rampant with stickers and detail so the thermo filled up fast.

    PART 2(not complete) - Little Wingless, Pharoah Pudge is trying to scare the bats out of the caves with huge buzzsaws! The Egyptian Bat God has asked you to help his children(the bats) and show Pudge that you mean business!

    Screens(thanks to Hybrid Leader):

    I checked your level out (even though I didnt see a QPQ , but I knew I would forget and this looked like fun to check out). PS I TYPE AS I REVIEW. Which means, things could backtrack or repeat themselves.

    The OK- I must say, some of the stickers didnt really fit in (except on the big worker, that was funny).

    The Good- Nice hidden first bubble! I liked the idea of having bubbles hanging, it was a cool effect. But if you want a smooth looking effect, try hiding the string! Im really liking all the hidden bubbles! I liked the change of materials, but I expected the main material (which looked like BASIC [OH NO!!] wood) to be something more egyptian-y.

    The Awesome- ALL THE MOVING PARTS!! LIKE THE CONSTRUCTION CRANES AND SUCH!!! AWESOMENESS . AWESOME DOUBLE USAGE of the puzzle where you get the mans head on!!

    The Bad- In some places the checkpoints were a bit scant (in my opinion. For example, the part with the calavera sticker and the annoying warning sign going very quickly (which is why its annoying) back and forth, I would have appareciated a checkpoint after you get to the worker slamming a hammer. That way if you died (on the spikes like me) you wouldnt have to go all the way back.) I also would have enjoyed some decorations on the scoreboard, but I understand due to thermometer illness. (Its an epidemic).

    The Horrible-Nothing!!

    4.3/5 stars!! Excellent design, I liked it! Can't wait for more! (PS, Im second on the board, so close to beating you!...ish.)

    AND, since I have no life (as my name impies) and I had no homework for monday, I decided to check out your demo of the second part!!

    The OK- This goes for both this level and the first one above, try hiding the sensors for a smoother look. The rope works with the theme but you could hide that too!

    The Good- Nice little puzzle with the train like things. It pissed me off though cause I couldnt get the right distance for a couple times. Thank goodness for double ring checkpoints! Though I only used 3 lives.... Good boss fight, however, their laughter got very annoying!!!

    The Awesome- I really enjoyed the design of the cave.

    The Bad- This isnt really bad, but it is to me, no beginning hidden bubble up the pyramid, ..

    The Horrible- Nothing

    Even though this was a demo, it could still pass as a short boss level. Very good, cant wait to see the finished product!
    4.2/5 stars!!

    Why dont you check out some of my levels, they're nowhere as good as this, but they're worth checking out (in my opinion)

    ~What would you do to keep a promise? What would you do for love?
    ~I have learned to take a step back and stop trying to understand all of the whys and how comes that go along with the world and this life. Sometimes you really have to say f--- it and just live
    ~All stories, even the ones we love, must eventually come to an end and when they do, it's only an opportunity for another story to begin
    I changed my quotes!!!

    Thanks for the feedback. I'd just like to say that I've scrapped part 2(I've got the full scrapped version on my moon, might post it) and am going to replace it with another, longer one because I've found a technique which means that the detailed objects barely show up on the thermo. Also, would you recommend I use the egyptian material from the history pack for ground? Im also going to apologize for the ground being so triangular. It was because i couldn't be bothered using the corner editor(sorry!) to make in more detailed. I'll try harder next time maybe. I'm also planning an in-joke for the next series if you go up the pyramid (;

    Both those posting levels and providing feedback need to follow the Quid pro Quo rule. Its the heart of the creativity planet and keeps people from taking advantage. Please read more about the rule here.

    I've updated it with my newest(ish) level, 'The Site PART 2 SCRAPPED VERSION.' Think of it as an extended version of the demo.

    Also, the level has been updated since this video. There is now more checkpoints and the button switch in one section is easier to see

    Hey. I've just updated part 1 with a new prize and I've also made the level look less empty visually and added layered ground and scenery.
