OMG... Been here for 2 hours so far... And my feet are dog tired!!!!! But already picked up some great stuff!!! You will find out later in my next day recap post.

the only Beta codes they are passing out now is MAG but since I been talkin to the Sony booth guys a lot, they know I am already in it haha
MAG shirts are in a few hours... Gotta make sure I am there for that!!! Need to get some food now have shot tons of video so will update you all after I get home tonight and play MAG a bit first
they do have Fat Princess but are playing pixeljunk shooter on that system now. So not sure if they have the new maps here or not

oh yeah I entered a survival contest on LBP... They have every hour or so. And I won !!!!! Not telling you what I got though you would hate me hahahaha

b-coli reporting from the trenches of PAX 2009 in Seattle Wa... The Pacific Northwest
Here is day two's recap It was a long one... haha

I left at 9 am in order to get there early but when I got there I had 5 minutes before the exhibition halls opened. I didn't see anyone on the street, so that meant they just let everyone in the front doors to wind up the 6 levels of gaming fun. I made it into the building with 5 minutes until the Hall doors opened at 10 am. I turned the corner into the staging area and this is what I saw:



After bout 20 minutes , I zig-zagged into the main halls and made my way back over to the Sony booth to see when the MAG shirts were gonna be given out Gotta get my priorities straight haha
Found out they were not til 4pm so I had PLENTY of time... I made my way over to the LBP section again and caught this video I hadn't seen before, but maybe I just missed it somehow...



I really wanna try out that funhouse one... Need to locate it Stupid video blurs out when the name comes up. As you can tell I had to leave for "other" reasons hahaha
After picking up my t-shirt, I made my way over to the Uncharted 2 section, cause I could shoot some decent video and the line to play God of War III was like 45 minutes long already... Oh well, here are 2 clips of Uncharted 2. The first one is a sorta chase seen and the other is a shoot out while holding a shield. Must play the games tomorrow...MUST play games(other than LBP haha)... looks like I will be standing in line a lot tomorrow (I was still just wandering around the place in awe...) I also got a short clip of God of War







After watching other people play GoW III and feeling sorry for myself for not getting in line soon enough. I decided to head back over to see what was going on with the M.A.G. beta they had running. I got some cool parachute footage I hadn't even seen played before.... I can't wait for this game to come out I got some footage of someone that was on a roll for a bit. They had people handing out beta codes for M.A.G. beta too after you played for a bit. I can't wait to have more people to shoot at in the beta hahaha.... Bring em on!!!

This game looks cool, there was always a crowd around that screen so kinda harder to get video I like his options in the fridge... You can see in the first video how they use the choice options for conversations. I like how the options spin around your head, better than a big button flashing in the corner of the screen There is also a clip of a split screen section of what looks to be a robbery in progress.







Next is a game I have been waiting for since I first saw it on G4's E3 coverage ... Pixeljunk Shooter This one looks simple yet fun like the other Pixeljunk titles. I already have their Monsters game and played it for weeks solid when i got it, even tried it out on remote play with my psp I am not really a fortress defense kinda player either... Anyway, this game was running on the opposite end of the Heavy Rain demo, and this one was also always being played, I saw Fat Princess on it on Friday, but I think they were focusing on games to come. so I had to shoot some footage after trying it out.



Sooo many games... I was also trying out Motorstorm and Socom on the psp. Mark , from Sony, held a few LBP player contests where fans were pitted against each other in a survival challenge.
I was able to produce the sack related items required to participate, so I was in the first round We got a practice round which I died at pretty quick, I just watched the patterns while everyone else was still practicing... hehe My stradegy... (sure)
Anyhow, everyone died and we proceeded to start the real match. We had to spring board and get bubbles and avoid the burnt things hanging and on the sides. well I took to the right side and for some reason the other 3 took off to the left side fighting for bubbles... haha I was right on the edge and scoring all the bubbles on my side. Every once in a while one would come over and I would get to the bubble before them so they would retreat to their side. Then the hangnging burnt balls started going across the screen. I was flirting with death jumping just over them and barely missing the edge , but still all by myself Finally I slipped up and bumped one floating ball of fire and it sent me hurling to my death into the burning wall Thinking I was out, I sat and watched all sad , then Mark pointed out, that it is the person with the highest score that wins, not who lasts longest... haha , Sure enough, they were knocking each other around and into stuff and ended up dieing before they could reach my score hahaha So I won!!!! hehehe Felt like an accomplishment It was fun, and then I would stand around and chat to a few other LBP fans.

Later in the day when things were slowing down, I went back and played a really fun survival level exclusive to the GOTY edition with Mark. Duckies would float down and you had to shoot them , it was crazy to watch him try alone , so I had to jump in and we tried multiplayer. I need to check out more of the Bonus levels tomorrow too. That was fun

Another kick ass day of coverage B. Those videos of MAG are pretty interesting to me. I guess I should play some tomorrow. Looks like they unlocked a couple of new game modes.
