What I think may be happening is that there is still one more light gate crystal thingy that you need to set in order to progress. There is a crystal that is directly above the right wall that you'll need to activate once you've activated the one on the far left near the entrance.

I hope that the final version is improved over the one you've played earlier. Good luck.

    Impressive

I like mainly the concept/idea behind all,but the realization too is an high level here...

    +really original and interessing idea...
    +...and realization too
    +i loved the moving shadow
    +good boss design
+really solid level design, complicated but simple at the same time

-not a true lack, but maybe you can use the new global lighting switch to make more visible and impressive the difference between "cursed area" and "purify by light area"... but again, not a lack, just a suggestion

I played this level, and here's my review. I really liked it.

the OK- I felt that when I walked to each "station", it felt empty on the road. Maybe put some more decorations?

the GOOD- From the start, you made me addictive to the lvl. I just had to finish it.

the AMAZING- Very nice idea about the lights! Even if LBP doesn't have reflections, you made it very well, thumbs up.

the BAD- Maybe you should fix some background? It seemed a little empty for me, but that's just my thought.

    4.5 stars

As best as I can figure it out, as I didn't have the exact play count pre-SITM posting, is that there was a bump in plays of the level in LBP by about 300 - 340.

The video recorded for the level is in three parts and the first video has nearly 5K views, the second about 400 and the third about 340 which seems to say that those who watched the whole level in the video were generally the ones who also played the level in game.

As you would expect in this situation the hear to play ratio on the 300 or so plays that the SITM post generated was much higher as only those who liked the video came to the level to play it themselves.

I've gotten a lot of positive comments on the level since the SITM post though no real feedback on things to work on or improve. There has been a little bleed-through of players playing my older levels recently which also seems to be from the players coming in through the SITM post.

A level in the SITM post does get a lot of exposure and I think that quality/style of the level, the quality and presentation of the level recording, the amount of other community levels also posted in the same SITM and the amount of other blog posts at that same time all contribute to the amount of exposure that a level gets through this venue.

I've been very happy with this situation and I look forward to trying and getting more of the lbpforum member levels into the SITM posts if possible. (Just that, lately, I've not been able to do much LBP at all. )

    This level was amazing.

I thought the whole concept was win, but the little touches were the standouts. The lights slowly growing in intensity to light the next section were great.

The boss battle was very clever, I spent a play trying to work it out, I think I know how you did it. Very good use of the thermo, you seem to have alot there, plus logic, and I can only imagine how much thermo you used.

I made a flawless run, but came out with 1100, instead of 1150. Did one of the lights not activate the enemy brain it was linked with, or have I missed some points in game?

Just awesome. Nice little shipwreck at the start too!

Thank you VelcroJonze and cortez72 for the comments and praise for the level as well as to KodRiter for the level bump.

Regarding the scoring system for Lightbringer there is one section added in as a small bonus for those who explore a little and the last 50 points are given there. Inside the Keep there is a crumbled staircase on the right side, where you knock over the rock fragment that block the light's path.

If you go up that staircase another flight there is part of a library that has a book that goes a little into the back-story of the level. Reading the book nets you the last set of points. I have a lot of back-story but also force the player to sit through a lot of text as it is so I don't force people to go up the library annex to read this but award those who do.

    Cheers
